Film Review: Blood and Bone 8/10

Blood and bone is the first time we get to see Michael Jai White in his own action movie, and ever since he whooped van dam’s ass as Seth in Universal Soldier 2 we’ve been waiting for it. The story line is pretty good White is a mysterious ex-con who gets into the underground street fighting circuit on a mission which comes into play later. The main villain is James (Eamon Walker) or Kareem Saiid from Oz, who plays a crooked gangster/ slash fight promoter. Walker is pretty sick as the villain kind of a Nino Brown meets Shang Tsung and the vilains don’t stop there, Bob Sapp as Walker’s lead goon and Kimbo Slice give good performances also. The fighting is next level killing everything this past year such as the movie “Fighting” , everybody in the fight scenes are legitimate fighters which make it feel so real….it’s hard to describe how ill the fighting is so I have a clip.  So support a inde-fight film with a good story and even better Martial Arts.
