Film Review: Raging Phoenix 8.5/10

Wow, first let me say that the star of the movie Jeeja Yanin (Kazu) is probably equal to if not better than tony jaa (Ong bak). The Movie Raging Phoenix has a decent plotline, a group of thugs are kidnapping random girls and Yanin is there next victim when a group of people save her and are trying to catch the kidnappers in order to find out what happened to certain women they had relationships with. From there she’s trained in a combination of break dance, drunken boxing, and muay style of martial arts.

With Raging Phoenix it has a pretty simple plot but it works. There is even a sub love story between Yanin one of her comrades/trainers. The only real gripe I have with the movie is the wack Thai rap music, I think they could’ve put some wu-tang in it and been just fine. In the end you’ll forget everything you don’t like about the movie in the epic 30 minute final showdown with Yanin and a girl who looks just like Sheree’ Whitfield from the Real Housewives of Atlanta (It might be her), but this has to be the one of the best fight scenes I’ve seen not just from two women but from anybody ……..This is a must see movie, highly recommend!!!!

The opponent of Jeeja in last fight sence is Rongtawan Sing(she is famous Thai bodybuilder and this is her first movie)It’s not Sheree’ Whitfield
    I like this movie ,too

  2. Mr. Perfect says:

lol, thanx I looked her up too….the resemblance just threw me off for a sec. Jeeja is nice though, if this is her first movie she has a long future because that was one of the best fights I’ve ever seen!!!!
